About Melissa Adams
Melissa Adams, also known as Melissa Puchalla, joined Wastebits as the Vice President of Sustainability. With a rich background in global supply chain compliance and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) strategy, Melissa has been instrumental in steering our sustainability initiatives. Prior to joining Wastebits, she held the position of Director of Supply Chain Compliance for a global industrial & construction supply distribution company. There, she was pivotal in developing and implementing risk mitigation and ESG solutions for numerous national and government clients.
Melissa’s approach to sustainability is rooted in genuine efforts. She believes that while many companies express the desire to adopt green practices, they often lack clarity on how to initiate such changes. She emphasizes the importance of understanding the environmental impact of operations and supply chains and encourages collaboration with stakeholders to devise sustainable solutions.
Her guiding framework, “listen, learn, and apply,” reflects her commitment to understanding the unique challenges faced by organizations and offering tailored solutions. As the VP of Sustainability Solutions at Wastebits, Melissa applies this methodology to assist our clients in achieving their sustainability objectives.
Looking ahead, Melissa is excited about the opportunities 2023 presents. She aims to enhance the Wastebits platform, emphasizing its user-friendly nature and its potential as a leading solution for sustainability initiatives.
