We are proud to announce that Melissa Adams, our VP of Sustainability Solutions at Wastebits, will be taking the stage at the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) Twin Cities Regional Fall Conference. The event is set for October 9-10, 2023, at the Crowne Plaza Minneapolis West. Melissa will be delving into the topic of “Short-termism vs. Sustainability: The Critical Role of ESG Goals in Long-term Growth.

About Melissa (Puchalla) Adams: Melissa is a seasoned professional in the realm of sustainability. She joined Wastebits with a rich background in global supply chain compliance and ESG strategy. Before her tenure with us, she served as the Director of Supply Chain Compliance for a global industrial & construction supply distribution company. There, she spearheaded the development and implementation of risk mitigation and ESG solutions for a vast array of national and government customers.

Melissa has always emphasized the significance of genuine sustainability efforts. She believes that while many companies express a desire to “go green,” the real challenge lies in understanding the practical implications of such a commitment. Melissa’s approach to sustainability is encapsulated in her mantra: “listen, learn, and apply.” She aims to assist companies in realizing their sustainability goals, especially as they set their sights on future initiatives.

Having observed the evolution of ESG for over 16 years, Melissa notes that proactive companies with clear ESG plans often stand out as preferred partners. With her at the helm of our sustainability solutions, Wastebits is poised to further its mission of reducing waste and championing sustainability.

Join Melissa at the Conference: This conference promises to be a treasure trove of insights, especially with experts like Melissa sharing their knowledge. Don’t miss out on her enlightening session and the chance to deepen your understanding of the critical role ESG goals play in long-term growth.
